Atwell Toy Library is a not-for-profit organisation run by local parents and volunteers. It is open to residents of Atwell and the surrounding areas of Cockburn through which members borrow toys on a weekly or fortnightly rotation.

Our aim is to provide a wide range of quality toys, puzzles and games which promote the physical and cognitive development of children up to 7 years of age.

Since the library is run by members and volunteers, all members participate in the running of the library.

 The benefits of joining the Atwell Toy Library include;

  • Helping our environment, as there is less reliance on purchasing new toys which invariably end up as land-fill

  • A social outing for your child each week, one they can regularly look forward to

  • The opportunity to meet like-minded people in your local community

  • Saving money through accessing a wide variety of toys, puzzles and costumes

  • Trialling particular toys before deciding to purchase for your child

  • Saving space in your home through not storing piles of toys that are only used occasionally

  • Borrowing costumes for special events or just dress up and imaginative play

  • Borrowing a range of party games to suit different ages, chairs and tables to make birthday parties a breeze
